This City and Guilds NVQ Diploma has been designed to reflect the work of experienced practitioners who work directly with clients disseminating information, advice, guidance and formal advocacy at Level 4.

Total Credit Value of qualification:

Minimum 37 credits

17 credits must be completed from Mandatory Units
20 credits minimum must be completed from Optional Units

Mandatory Units

17 credits of which 10 credits are at level 4

  • 009 Prepare to represent advice and guidance clients in formal proceedings

  • 0011 Negotiate on behalf of advice and guidance clients
  • 0012 Liaise with other services
  • 0013 Enable advice and guidance clients to access referral opportunities
  • 0034 Provide support for other practitioners
  • 0019 Undertake research for the service and its’ clients
