These are the biographies of our staff who deliver the CIAG, Management, Health & Safety & First Aid Qualifications.

Anne Tanner

Anne has fifteen years’ experience of delivering learning, assessment, and support to learners and employers to achieve their potential with a successful track record of success. She has been highly involved with quality aspects of delivery including Internal Verification, observations of delivery including graded Ofsted observations, auditing of files and coordinating the delivery of apprenticeships and classroom programmes.

Anne gained her Cert Ed and specialises in teaching Literacy and Numeracy to enable her to work with projects in the delivery of Basic Skills and Life Skills (confidence building, self-esteem, prevention of bullying, discrimination, communication, motivation, personal and social development, and vocational education), in supplementary schooling, exclusion programmes, NEET and unemployed programmes. Anne has specialised in embedding basic skills, functional skills and Key Skills into apprenticeship programmes and classroom programmes over a wide range of vocations to support assessors and trainers to ensure the success of learners. She delivered IAG to ensure that learners are at the right place in their progression at all times and supported with appropriate counselling and mentoring when appropriate. Her overall aim is to see learners achieve and progress in todays’ society.

Phil Knowles

Phil is a professional management development practitioner. He has many years’ experience, both in the UK and overseas, in the following areas: designing, presenting and delivering, team building, risk management, health & safety systems, leadership and management development programmes. He has worked with a wide range of clients from SME’s to multi-nationals and companies he has worked with include Vodafone, Orange and Panasonic.

Phil has a real world practical knowledge, obtained over many years, of developing people and teams, delivering effective leadership, improving communication and team dynamics. He has a unique ability to get to the core of the issue under consideration and draw out, through astute facilitation, understanding and solutions.

Martin Davies

Martin has a wealth of practical experience, knowledge and skills in both the private and public  health and safety sector which adds to our growing portfolio of services we can offer our clients. Martin  is our  health and safety training manager. He also develops and delivers bespoke courses for our clients to meet their specific needs such as manual handling, COSHH, working at height and asbestos awareness. In addition to delivering training Martin also acts as a consultant offering advice on improving internal health and safety procedures, risk assessments and operational procedures.  This cost effective service combined with Martin’s practical and  personable approach has proved useful for clients who don’t their own in-house expertise.

Francesca Zenati

Francesca spent 12 years in the army as a front line combat medic. She served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. She was awarded the DZ Award For Bravery in Afghanistan after the military vehicle she was travelling in with colleagues was blown up.

Fran designs and delivers our bespoke first aid training for clients. An inspirational individual, she also uses her extensive military experience to work as a facilitator and motivational speaker with our corporate clients.
